About SOAR Co-Working and our Owner, Paula Blair
The idea resulting in SOAR was birthed in 2015 after I saw a 2 page full color article with pictures of a new coworking space in Oregon. I devoured it on the Sunday it arrived. From that point to now, I have had coworking on the brain! It is a labor of love every single day I come to work.
We launched in July 2017 with private offices, meeting rooms, and co-working desks, and have received glowing testimonies and reviews from coworkers and the community.
My background is comprised of a hodge podge of group insurance underwriting, recruiting, church leadership and project management. I consider myself the Chief Co-Worker here at SOAR. I sit in the Shared Space Seating so I experience everything co-workers experience.
TEDx, the City of Tampa, and Hillsborough County, Florida have given some special nods to SOAR. We are an approved practice site for TEDx speakers and provide them with a space to practice at no charge.
We are also a Certified Minority Owned Small Business by both the City of Tampa and Hillsborough County, Florida. We’ll gladly furnish a Certificate to any City of Tampa or Hillsborough County entity wanting to do business with SOAR.
Do you want to know more about me? You can search for me on LinkedIn to see my complete resume. Please connect with me! You can also like and follow SOAR Co-Working on Facebook and LinkedIn for updates on what’s shaking here!
I am so thankful for this great blessing and opportunity. Every new day is a new experience. Thank you to our Co-workers and the Community. YOU are our why, and our success is also your success.

National Small Business Association (NSBA) Leadership Council
May 27, 2020
Local Business Owner – Paula Blair - Named to NSBA Leadership Council
Tampa, Florida – Paula Blair of SOAR Co-Working was recently named to the National Small Business Association (NSBA) Leadership Council. NSBA is the nation’s oldest small-business advocacy organization and operates on a staunchly nonpartisan basis. Blair, a recognized leader in the small-business community, joins the NSBA Leadership Council alongside other small-business advocates from across the country as they work to promote the interests of small business to policymakers in Washington, D.C.
“As a small-business owner, I see daily the importance of being involved and active when it comes to laws and regulation,” stated Blair. “Joining NSBA’s Leadership Council will enable me to take our collective small-business message to the people that need to hear it most: Congress.”
Blair’s focus on small business is best seen in her daily interactions with other small business owners. She owns and operates a co-working space in New Tampa where she knows the backstory, goals and challenges of 30 small businesses. Networking also helps her stay informed of issues small businesses face.
Blair joined the NSBA Leadership Council as part of her efforts to tackle the many critical issues facing small business, including tax reform, regulatory restraint, health care costs and how the Affordable Care Act will impact small business. The NSBA Leadership Council is focused on providing valuable networking between small-business advocates from across the country while ensuring small business a seat at the table as Congress and regulators take up key small-business proposals.
“I am proud to have Paula Blair as part of our Leadership Council,” stated NSBA President and CEO Todd McCracken. She came to us highly recommended and I look forward to our coordinated efforts for years to come.”

LinkedIn Local North Tampa
#LinkedInLocal is a meetup concept originally created on LinkedIn with the purpose of meeting your online LinkedIn connections face-to-face, offline. The purpose is to unite people from all walks of life in facilitated events hosted around the world, to genuinely get to know the humans behind the LinkedIn profiles, and connect beyond the job titles, business cards and company names that are so common at most networking events. Proceeds less administrative costs for this event are donated to a local charity in the Tampa Bay area. Every month a different non-profit is chosen as the beneficiary.
LinkedIn Local North Tampa came to life as the Chairperson and Founder, Paula Blair, realized the need for a LinkedIn chapter in our northern suburbs. It has been our privilege to connect many professionals through events curated for that purpose. The biggest reward has been our financial recognition given to local charities. You can find our events by searching Eventbrite for LinkedIn Local North Tampa.
LinkedIn Local North Tampa is not sponsored, endorsed, or operated by LinkedIn.
