NETWORKING DURING A PANDEMIC
Updated: Apr 30, 2021
It was my privilege to be a contributor to LinkedIn Local North Tampa's YouTube Live presentation titled "Adapting Your Networking." Covid-19 has done more than cause a disruption of face-to-face networking. LinkedIn Local North Tampa's Board of Directors and non-profit recipients share how they are managing to connect to humans in real life while remaining socially distant and mourning their loss of live networking events. You can find the recorded event here.
When we're able to meet face-to-face, we give most of our ticket proceeds to local charities. Kristin Votta, our Philanthropy Coordinator, reached out to check on them prior to the making of this video. Some of them were kind enough to give us a video update of what they've been up to through Covid. Enjoy their updates! Find Project Transition USA, EquipHer and A Door of Open (links below) online. They could use some help.
Eric Bunch, our Production Coordinator, shares a list of 10 actions to take to insure your online networking/meeting/webinar will be top notch! This is a must watch.
Paula Blair, our Chairperson and Founder, talks about her wakeup call to pay more attention to the real living breathing people she sees over mourning the loss of networking with strangers. Are you guilty of that?

Thank you to all who participated in the making of this video! It was a labor of love. We hope you enjoy it.
